Description
Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare drawings shop drawing, elevation, section & detail drawing as instructed by the Design Manager.
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of bills of material.
• Work directly with sales staff to produce drawings and bills of material from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images, along with verbal and written descriptions.
• Work closely with all departments in the plant to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
• Utilize drafting resources to efficiently carry out above mentioned tasks.
• Maintain organized archiving of all approved products and shop drawings.
• Architectural/Joinery and interior designing for 2D Plans, Shop drawing detailed shop drawing for mainly joinery & interior fit out.
• Prepare free hand section details for site people.
• Prepare the material list.
• Prepare and draw shop drawings as per site conditions and BOM
• Prepare as Built drawing as per site conditions.
• Prepare transmittal and drawing submission.
• Prepare Material Submittal for Client.
The desired candidate must have:
• Previous experience in drafting of furniture, joinery and fit-out related drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
• Technical knowledge of wood and metal related components of furniture.
• General Knowledge of the interior fit out/joinery industry & competition.
• Design knowledge for Safety & Aesthetics, follow UAE Authority Guidelines.
