Role and Responsibilities

Development and implementation of Marketing Plan
Work with artist to produce marketing collateral and presentations
Coordinate with Sponsors and Supporting Partners and make sure that partnership terms are being implemented, they get branding benefits and gets to be promoted in their networks as well
Handle content marketing, do the Social Media posts in different platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) and conceptualize/approve suitable artwork
Strategics and monitor Digital Marketing – SEO, Re marketing, Digital Display Ads, and Analytics
Make e blasts – conceptualize, prepare content (text and images), work with artist to ensure proper layout
Update and continuously add to the mailing list in Mail-chimp
Make sure content and design for adverts, web banners, roll-ups, etc. are correct to maximize event awareness
Update the website with the latest developments (speakers, white papers, sponsors, partners, press releases, suppliers, etc.)
Coordinate and monitor the production of promotional videos
Support the needs of Sales Team here in Dubai office and our International agents
Coordinate with PR company for the content and approval of press releases and other media-related events
Organize press conference
Monitor marketing/promotional activities
Building relationships with suppliers and organizations that help in the promotion
Other duties as assigned by the position’s line manager and/or the company’s management
*

Researching database of possible media partners [general media & specialized media] (by means of search engines, media, social media, networking, from the existing database)
Categorizing media partners according to value [tier] (by means of media partner’s reach, covered market, allocated target etc.)
Researching concerned individuals to be contacted within media partners
Contacting possible media partners by individual approach [by means of email, telephone, fax etc.]
Following up with contacted media partners in case of no reply from their side (by means of follow up plans)
Draft individual media barter deal from template (exchanging media coverage of exhibition through media partner for advertisement of media partner during the exhibition); sending said barter deal; renegotiation of media barter deal in case of non-acceptance of the deal from media partner
Liaise with media partners in order to receive their required specifications of SME’s branding material & vice versa [for instance: resolution of logo, size of logo, format of logo, horizontal / vertical alignment]
Liaise with Graphic Design team in order to create SME’s branding material according the media partner’s requirements & vice; sending / receiving said branding material from / to media partners; coordinating graphic department’s efforts of putting branding material on SME’s media channels
Tracking fulfillment of negotiated deal from both sides; coordinating implementation of branding material from both parties; immediate follow-up with concerned party in case of breach of agreement
Coordinate media collateral with PR team – double checking & sending all press releases to media partners; coordinate that SME’s media collateral’s (press releases, email blasts etc.) are branded appropriately and similarly
Creation & coordination of technical exhibitor’s manual [general information manual with forms of technical information, policies, contact information which are to be filled by the exhibitor and sent back] (welcome messages / tablet of contents / sending forms for exhibitors (booth requirements, stands, exhibitor’s requirements) time schedule, floor plan etc.)
Contacting & coordinating official contractors in order to follow up that technical requirements of exhibitors are met [only interfering when required]
Preparing badges [name tags] for individuals from press; sponsors; delegates and exhibitors
Creation & coordination of exhibitor’s catalog [general information manual for every visitor and exhibitors] including the exhibition’s program, floor plan, venue information, contact information, schedule etc.
Coordination of all major events within the exhibition and their coverage by media partners [including hotel bookings, transfers, time schedules]
Being present during the setup of the exhibitions in order to ensure the layout of the floor plan is followed [taking photos of venue before build up to be able to prove that any damages caused were there beforehand]; being present during the exhibition in order to be contacted for answers from media partners
Creation & coordination of post-event report which will be sent to all media partners, sponsors and delegates
