Position: Network Engineer
Location: Dubai
Responsibilities
– Level 3 IP Network Technical Expertise, IP Networks Design, Deployment and Managment for Wired and Wireless netowrk/technolgies such as: WAN and LAN connectivity, Multivendor Switches/Devices including Nexus/Core, Firewalls, WLCs, Windows Servers (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP) and Security Appliances.
– Remote access solution implementation and support such as IPSEC VPN, Remote and Site to Site VPNs, FortiGate SD-WAN.
-Hands on Experience on Manageable Network Switches, FortiGate, PaloAlto Firewalls and Multivendor Wireless LAN Controllers including Huawei and Cisco.
– Performing network maintenance, monitoring, analysis, backup, inventory and system upgrades including patches, IOS, Firmware and security configurations of Switches/Routers/Firewalls.
– Expert to Manage all three layers of traditional Network Model (Core, Distribution and Access) and document/change the design as per requirement.
– Ability to work with Networking Product Vendors/ISP support teams to resolve issues within SLA.
– Effective Communication and Coordination with different teams/Department, End-Users and Support Desk team to Troubleshoot IT/Network-related Issues.
– Able to identify and resolve issues Remotely in time and if requires on-site visits to End-Users and different Branches/Sites to understand and fulfill the requirements.
– Enterprise level Working Experience in Following Technologies:
TCP/IP Model, Routing and Switching Protocols (Static/OSPF/BGP Routing Protocols, STP, VLans, Etherchannels, SVIs, Inter-Vlan Routing, VLTs, LAGs, FHRP, Internet/Network Redundancy), Security Profiles/Features (Internet Proxy, SSL Inspection, WAF, URL/Web filtration, Application Control, Intrusion Prevention System(IPS), VPNs IPSec Site to Site Tunnels, NAT, D-NAT, F5-LTM, MPLS VPN, IP-SLA, — Wireless LAN Controllers, Access Points, Dot1x, Bandwidth Load-Balancing, IP Schemes/Subnetting and Distribution.
– Working Experience with Fiber/Copper and structured cabling Deployment, Site Surveys and Wireless Heat Maps.
Required Certifications:
CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure)
CCNP.
NSE-4(Fortinet)
Preferable NSE-5
Experience:
At least 8-10 Years of relevant experience as Sr. Network Administrator/Sr. Network Engineer in Reputed Medium/Large Enterprise.
