A well established Learning Centre in Dubai is looking for a Centre Manager for their upcoming branch, who will satisfy following criteria:
Westerner with highly professional English Language
Education: Cache Level 4 a minimum
Experience: 2-5 years

Job Description:
Main Duties and Responsibilities 1. To be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Nursery.

To create a welcoming and family friendly environment.
To take part in recruitment and to support a team of staff to meet statutory ratios and include contingency staffing where appropriate, including induction. 4. To provide a child-centered environment where children are cared for in a safe, caring and stimulating way that ensures their individual needs are met within a group setting. 5. To ensure the national standards for the registration of childcare are maintained at all times. 6. To take responsibility for quality assurance and compliance with all applicable legislation, including Health and Safety, within the Nursery environment. 7. To work in partnership with KHDA and Ministry of Educational Services. 8. To establish and maintain effective working relationships with partner agencies providing services within the centre.
To develop and review applicable policies and procedures and then to ensure that the Nursery operates within the framework set. 10. To establish and deliver an effective curriculum which includes assessment, planning and evaluation. 11. To ensure the implementation of the EYFS curriculum for all children 0-5 years. 12. To develop and maintain procedures for regular review and assessment of each child’s progress in partnership with parents. 13. To implement and manage an effective parent liaison program, ensuring regular communication and interaction with parents. 14. To receive and deal with complaints positively in accordance with procedures. 15. To work as a senior member of the centre team and to promote all activities being provided by the centre. 16. To be responsible for marketing the centre through the development and implementation of marketing strategy. 17. To attend regular supervision, team meetings, senior centre management meetings and training as required.
To participate in the appraisal process.
To keep a register and up to date records of all children using the centre and to give regular feedback to parents about their child’s development and progress.
Managing Resources

To achieve the targets set for occupancy levels by managing capacity, reviewing numbers of children attending and following up enquiries promptly to ensure maximum capacity levels are maintained at all times. 2. To manage an allocated budget in accordance with agreed procedures. 3. To ensure an effective stock control system is established and a register of assets is maintained. Managing People 1. To assist in recruitment and to support a staff team with the appropriate skills, qualifications, experience and qualities, ensuring the centre is staffed to the required levels at all times, including induction. 2. To implement a program of supervision and performance management and an appraisal system. 3. To agree developmental plans for each member of staff which support the further development of the Nursery. 4. To manage staff sickness and absence in accordance with procedures
Provide training for all the staff, including new starters alongside the Head Teacher Managing Quality 1. To be responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe and acceptable standard of practice that meets KHDA criteria. 2. To ensure quality standards, including the implementation of all relevant legislation, policies and procedures. 3. To equip the Nursery with suitable materials of a high quality which enhance the Nursery environment.
Risk assessment, evacuation plan and fire drill. Managing Information 1. To produce reports and statistical information as required, maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality in record-keeping. 2. To participate in the evaluation of the services offered at the centre. 3. To promote, attend and represent the centre at appropriate events, conferences, seminars and training. 4. To undertake any other task requested which is commensurate with this role and responsibility.
Selected candidates will be called for the interview with the Managing Director.
