Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the efficient operation of the warehouse by managing inventory, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
Conduct regular stock checks and report inventory discrepancies.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, if certified.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse.
Assist in loading and unloading goods.
Follow company procedures for stock management and handling.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of inventory systems and software is a plus.
Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
Team player with good communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
